Live Life More Abundantly

Recycling, Re-gifting, Re-selling

I love giving! I hate wasting!

I’m already thinking about goals for the new year, and they definitely include reducing clutter and giving to others. Why not combine the two?!

Yes, I have unopened boxes of technology, clothing, and food which others could use. One way to make way for new abundance is to document, track and disposition these items. Try using one of these home inventory apps if you’re feeling ambitious.

I’ve already assigned a closet for my future gifts and goods. The next step is to identify their new homes or owners. As a loyal Amazon consumer, it makes sense that it also become a source for re-selling the items I’ve never used, but didn’t return in time for a refund. Other reliable sources for listing new and slightly used goods is Facebook Marketplace and eBay.

Of course another way to let abundance flow is through charitable donations. Taking your over-flow items to the Salvation Army, Goodwill and other numerous non-profit organizations is always an option. I especially like the groups who pick up donations from your home- i.e. Big Brothers Big Sisters, Veterans of America. For even more convenience, you can re-use those Amazon delivery boxes to ship up to 50 lbs of goods for free or $15, using Give Back Box.

What will you do to make way for new abundance and joy in 2022?
